Restoration of civil rights will allow a person to vote, hold office, and serve as a juror. If you were convicted of one felony then your civil rights are automatically restored if you completed your probation or received an absolute discharge from imprisonment and you paid any fine or restitution that the judge ordered. If you were convicted of two or more felonies you may petition the court to restore your civil rights after your probation is completed or you receive an absolute discharge from imprisonment. If your conviction was in federal court then we can file in the county that you now reside in for your civil rights to be restored.

The typical case in Arizona takes about 3 to 4 months.

Our flat-fee includes all costs. We will conduct the research, file the necessary motions, respond to written or oral opposition from the District attorney, and send one of our attorneys to court to argue the case in front of the judge.

In most cases, you will not have to physically appear in court. You can let us handle all the work, while you track the progress of your case online.

Our law firm has handled hundreds of cases and serves all of Arizona with a low price. We will make sure you get the best deal and the maximum amount of relief.

What if I don’t know if my civil rights have been restored?

We can research it with the court to see if your civil rights were restored upon completion of your sentence. We charge a researching fee to do so and we apply that to the cost of any service you sign up for.

Does this include gun rights?

No, you have to file separately with the court to also have your gun rights restored. However, we can file for firearm rights restoration at the same time as civil rights restoration and we can provide a discount if you sign up for them at the same time. Please see the section on AZ firearm restoration.

Do you have payment plans?

We can create a payment plan that meets your needs. Please view the pricing for details regarding the payment plans.

Can restoration of civil rights be filed with the setting aside of the conviction?

Yes, if your case is set aside then your civil rights are restored. Please see the section on setting aside the conviction.

How long does the process take?

Typically, the case takes about three to four months.

We base our estimates of how long a case will take on how long the average is for that service in that state. However, some cases can take less or more time depending on the facts of the case, whether the DA is agreeing or objecting, the age of the case, etc. We work on your case as fast as we can and assist the court and DA in anything they need to get your case heard.
