Take the first steps to a better life now by doing our free online evaluation and see if you are eligible to have your felony expunged.

How To Reduce Felony In California

After you are sentenced for a felony conviction you may be eligible to have the felony reduced to a misdemeanor. In order to be eligible your felony offense must have been what is called a "wobbler" and prison could not have been a part of the sentence, even if it was a suspended prison sentence.

If you have already had your felony conviction expunged or are in the process of having it expunged then the felony conviction can still be reduced. However, if you have not started the process on the expungement, then we are able to file for both at the same time as you would want to have your case dismissed when it is reduced. Reductions and felony expungements are done together at the same single rate.

Felony Reduction Process

We start the same day you sign up. Having handled more than 12,000 cases, we know how to get records cleared as fast as possible. The time it takes varies by court, but the typical case in California takes between three to four months. The courts operate on a first-come, first-served basis, so the sooner you start, the sooner your record is cleared.

Our flat fee includes all costs. We will conduct the research, file the necessary motions, respond to written or oral opposition from the district attorney, and send one of our attorneys to court to argue the case in front of the judge.

In most cases, you will not have to physically appear in court. You can let us handle all the work, while you track the progress of your case online.

We have a money-back guarantee on most cases. We also have a low-price guarantee. Just show us a competitor’s quote or ad and we will match it.

We succeed on more than 97 percent of our California cases. Each case is different. The older the case is and the more positives we can point to in your life, the better the chances of success.

Due to the increased amount of work involved in filing and in the number of hearings for vehicle offenses, including DUIs, and cases with a violation of the terms of probation we charge an additional $200. Additionally, the money-back guarantee is for 50% (minus filing fees) instead of the normal 100% money-back guarantee (minus filing fees).

Our exclusive Expedited Record Clearance Update service allows us to have the leading background check companies reflect changes to your criminal record in less than 14 days, instead of months and even years like our competitors.
