After you are sentenced for a felony conviction you may be eligible to have the felony reduced to a misdemeanor. In order to be eligible your felony offense must have been what is called a "wobbler" and prison could not have been a part of the sentence, even if it was a suspended prison sentence.

However, you will then be convicted of a misdemeanor so it is in your best interest to have it expunged also. Reduction is included in the felony expungement price if your case is eligible to be reduced.
