After you are sentenced for a felony conviction you may be eligible to have the felony reduced to a misdemeanor. In order to be eligible your felony offense must have been what is called a "wobbler" and prison could not have been a part of the sentence, even if it was a suspended prison sentence.

If you have already had your felony conviction expunged or are in the process of having it expunged then the felony can still be reduced. However, you will then be convicted of a misdemeanor so it is in your best interest to have it expunged also. Reduction is included in the felony expungement price if your case is eligible to be reduced.

The typical case in California takes about 3 to 4 months. The courts operate on a first-come, first served basis, so the sooner you start, the sooner your record is reduced.

Our flat-fee includes all costs. We will conduct the research, file the necessary motions, respond to written or oral opposition from the District attorney, and send one of our attorneys to court to argue the case in front of the judge.

In most cases, you will not have to physically appear in court. You can let us handle all the work, while you track the progress of your case online.

Our low-price is unbeatable. Trust us to make sure you get the best deal and the maximum amount of relief.

Can I file for the expungement and reduction at the same time?

Yes. If you are eligible for the reduction then we file for it with the expungement for no extra charge.

Do you have payment plans?

We can create a payment plan that meets your needs. Please view the pricing for details regarding the payment plans.

How long does the process take?

Typically, the case takes about three to four months.

We base our estimates of how long a case will take on how long the average is for that service in that state. However, some cases can take less or more time depending on the facts of the case, whether the DA is agreeing or objecting, the age of the case, etc. We work on your case as fast as we can and assist the court and DA in anything they need to get your case heard.

Can I become a schoolteacher, nurse, or other occupation?

Since you will no longer have a felony on your record it will increase your chances of obtaining employment.

Will it still show up on my background check?

If you case is reduced but not expunged it will appear as a misdemeanor conviction. If you case is reduced and expunged it will appear as a dismissed misdemeanor.
