Expungement

"Thank you very much for all of your help. You have been just wonderful and I appreciate everything that you have done for me during this process." - Al R.

"My sincere thanks to you and your team for your hard work and professionalism in addressing this issue - I only wish I'd contacted you years ago!" - Raul O.

California Probation TerminationCalifornia Penal Code Section 1203.3 California Flag

If your probation is preventing you from reaching your potential, we can ask the court to terminate your probation. If you are looking to have your record expunged, but you are still on probation, this can be a way to get the process started.

California law allows the court to modify or terminate your probation if you have completed all the requirements such as paying fines and attending all classes. Once terminated, you are relieved of the duties imposed by probation and you can immediately file for expungement and get on with your life.

Our law firm has handled hundreds of probation termination cases. We will make sure you get the best deal and the maximum amount of relief.

Expungement Eligibility

California law does not allow for expungement until your probation is terminated. However, you can file for your probation to be terminated early so that you can end your sentence and file for probation.

In order to file for early termination of probation you must have paid all fines and court costs and complete all the court ordered classes and requirements. Additionally, our law firm suggests (though it is not required) that you complete at least half of the probation term before applying so that your chance of success is higher.

Our firm specializes in this area of law and we terminate people’s probation terms for various different reasons (including, but not limited to, probation is preventing you from a job, education, or other activity that would benefit you and society).

Once probation is terminated, we can ask the court to expunge the conviction. Many courts will allow us to do the expungement at the same hearing as the probation termination.

The typical case in California takes about 1 to 2 months. The courts operate on a first-come, first served basis, so the sooner you start, the sooner your record is cleared.

Our flat-fee includes all costs. We will conduct the research, file the necessary motions, respond to written or oral opposition from the District attorney, and send one of our attorneys to court to argue the case in front of the judge.

We have handled hundreds of expungement cases and even helped define California’s expungement law. Our low-price and money back guarantee are unbeatable. Trust us to make sure you get the best deal and the maximum amount of relief.

Do you have payment plans?

We can create a payment plan that meets your needs. Please view the pricing for details regarding the payment plans.

Does probation termination have a money back guarantee?

We are unable to offer a money back guarantee because the process involves a substantial amount of preparation and sometimes several appearances in court by our attorneys. We cannot afford to offer this low of a price and a money back guarantee.

How long does the process take?

Typically, the process takes about three months.

What factors does the court consider?

The court considers criminal history, amount of time spent on probation, your age, seriousness of the offense, compliance with other terms of the sentence, the need for relief, the potential benefit to society, and any other relevant factors.

What are my chances of success?

While we cannot predict what will happen, we have been successful in most of our probation termination cases. The more supporting evidence that you have of your reform and law abiding behavior the better your chances of success are. If you would like us to evaluate your case and give you the chances of success then we can do so for a fee and it will be applied to the probation termination fee if you sign up.
