Sim Gil is the 2014 District Attorney for Salt Lake County, a position to which he was elected on in 2010. Gil graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Philosophy. He then attended the Northwestern School of Law at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon where he received his Juris Doctor degree and certificate of specialization in Environmental and Natural Resources Law.
